Here's over 5 minutes of this Free to use for "not for profit" practice, performances and videos Backing Track of the changes to the pop & jazz standard Sunny by Bobby Hebb. The (C7) is written that way because I'm not really playing it on guitar, it's sort of being played by the bass part. For beginners improvising over these changes here's suggestions for the fewest number of scales to use- C major scale over Am7(aeolian), Bm7b5(locrian) , E7alt(phrygian) and Bb7("phrygian" looking at the Bb7as a tri-tone sub/"E7alt"). Then F major scale over Gm7(dorian), C7(mixolydian) and of course Fmaj7(ionian). The A minor pentatonic scale sounds good over all the chords as well. Have fun!
