They toured constantly (with Williams in 1970) and headlined extended runs in Vegas. They recorded more than a dozen albums with titles such as "Let's Get Acquainted" and the late-`60s too-hip-for-the-room "The Lennon Sisters On The Groovy Side" that saw them cover contemporary soft-rock and pop hits like The Association's "Never My Love," Bobby Hebb's "Sonny," and The 5th Dimension's "Up, Up And Away."

Peggy, now 71, retired in 1999. Dee Dee, 73, retired, unretired and
finally hung it up in 2001 and was replaced by younger sister Mimi. Now a
trio, The Lennon Sisters, Kathy, 69, Janet, 66, and Mimi, 57, have
continued to perform. The Lennon Sisters Christmas Show began a six-week
run this week through Dec. 12 at the Andy Williams Moon River Theatre
in Branson, Missouri.
