Note:
After a 30 minute delay in the show due to fans
rushing the stage, The Beatles dropped "Baby's In Black from the set
list and performed "Rock And Roll Music" a second time instead to
restart the concert.
FROM Dave Schwensen:
We start the Chicago Fest for Beatles Fans today and things are pretty crazy around here.
Also, I loved talking to Bobby (Hebb) for the book (Beatles in Cleveland) - what a great guy, and it was an honor for me.

I heard "Sunny" on the radio yesterday - driving to the Cleveland airport to fly to Chicago. Brought back great memories of that night - 49 years ago today (Aug 14, 1966) when I saw Bobby open for The Beatles in Cleveland. He reminded me more of James Brown than I expected - just from his moves on stage. I'm sure I mentioned this in the book, but from the song "Sunny" I expected a more 'David Ruffin' performance - ha!
Also remember the audience - all of us - singing along with "Sunny." For the rest of the opening acts, the kids all shouted "We want The Beatles!" With Bobby - he had the #1 song at the time - we all knew the words and sang along. A special evening - and I still have that special memory.
