Next up was Cortez Shaw, 22, a sales rep from Dallas, Texas. He sang the Bobby Hebb-penned hit, Sunny - and seemed to impress Keith Urban.  (see photo of Cortez Shaw on this site)

He goes with Kelly Clarkson's Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You), but he and the song don't quite connect. It's too slow, and when he hits the chorus, it's dragging like a heavy chain.

    Gurpreet Singh Sarin was next up playing his guitar and sang Georgia on My Mind by Ray Charles. Another early favorite, Cortez Shaw, sang Sunny by Bobby Hebb.Stronger by Kelly Clarkson was the song choice for Matheus Fernandes and Nicki felt that Matheus was using his shortness to get pity.
