Over the years The Big 14 presented many of the biggest shows to ever hit the Steel City. Right from the start in 1960 with KQV Appreciation Day with Dion & Belmonts, Jimmy Jones, Paul Evans, Jonny Campbell, Billie & Lillie, Bobby Vee, Ray Peterson, Fleetwoods and many others. It was KQV who stole the show, September 14, 1964 introducing The Beatles at the Civic Arena. KQV Shower of Stars shows featured The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Four Seasons and many more. And the KQV Festivals of Rock brought in more of the biggest names in business like Chicago, Neil Diamond, Stephen Stills, and The Who. |
