Pianist Sam Soda, who accompanied Bobby on his 2001 tour of Japan, will be again performing with Mr. Hebb at the entertainment complexes known as Billboard Live.
Ipanema Film in Germany is currently producing a film on the life of Bobby Hebb.
More Hebb news from Rudiger, president of Trocadero Records, in Germany: The coffee chain Tchibo uses 2 different cover versions of "Sunny" in their nationwide TV-spot campaign. Also, the nation's first TV program, ARD, has show a movie called "Mr. & Mrs. Right" where they used approximately 15 different versions of "Sunny" from the two compilations of Sunny songs that were released on Trocadero CDs in Germany, including Bobby's original.
A country-rockband named The BossHoss (from Berlin) has just recorded a version of SUNNY for their upcoming new album very late this year, maybe early 2009.
Their last two albums went platinum and experts believe this album will hit #1.
