R.I.P. Moogy Klingman

Moogy Klingman, co-author of the Bette Midler hit "Friends", passed away on Tuesday, November 15.

From the editor:
On Tuesday we lost my friend Moogy Klingman who co-wrote "Friends" - the Bette Midler hit with Buzzy Linhart, The connection to Bobby is that Moogy's co-songwriter also wrote with Sandy Baron, Bobby's co-writer on "A Natural Man" and "His Song Shall Be Sung". This site should have a statement from Mr. Linhart regarding Moogy, Sandy Baron and Buzzy's one conversation with Bobby Hebb when we had a conference call a few years back. I wanted Sandy Baron's co-writers to meet...via telephone. Rest in Peace, Moogy.
